Review: Rapid Sleep

I have had trouble sleeping for as long as I can remember. Once I’m awake, I’m fine. Once I’m asleep, I’m fine. It’s the transitions from one state to the other that are difficult. At night it is not uncommon for me to toss and turn in excess of an hour before going to sleep. Over the years I have tried various over-the-counter sleep aids, relaxation tapes, and other methods of combating my insomnia, but none have rendered entirely satisfactory results. I have never used prescription sleep medications in the past, and I am loath to try any for fear of becoming dependent on them or having to deal with potential side-effects.
I began a temporary work assignment at a new company in mid-August last year, and the woman I worked with most closely noticed that I was having trouble with fatigue. The problem was that the long commute to work (1.5 to 2 hours each way) was wearing me out, and combined with my chronic insomnia I was getting more and more sleep deprived as the week wore on. So my friend gave me a bottle of an herbal supplement called Rapid Sleep, made by Rapid Nutrition.
I don’t use it every night, but on those nights when I think I might have trouble falling asleep I take two soft-gels half an hour to 45 minutes before going to bed, and it seems that I fall asleep within 15 to 30 minutes on those occasions. Further, and most significantly, when I use Rapid Sleep I do not experience a “sleep aid hangover”. Most OTC sleep aids leave me groggy and feeling “drugged out” the next day, even when I have had a full eight hours of sleep. My experience with Rapid Sleep is that when I wake I feel rested and alert, although I still need my morning coffee.
As with anything, your mileage may vary, but this product works for me, is natural and doesn’t have the unpleasant side effects other popular sleep aids did.
Be well!
